General Objective for Visual Communication

 

 

 

1. Design Fundamentals

 

The graduate will be able to create and develop a design solution by analyzing common problems

 

and describing how universal elements and principles of design can be applied for effective

 

communication in various media formats

The graduate will be able to conceptualize, design, create and evaluate with in the framework of the following subject. It is recommended that the graduate should have the basic skills in all of the above subject

 

 

 

 

 

9.1 Illustration

 

The graduate will be able to apply knowledge and skills related to illustration to interpret (see) the world from an artistic viewpoint.

 

 

 

9.2 Print Production

 

The graduate will be able to apply pre-press, press and finishing/bindery techniques to develop a print project from design conceptualization though distribution of the final product.

 

 

 

9.3 Photography

 

The graduate will be able to conceptualize, design, create and evaluate photographic images for various purposes.

 

 

 

9.4 Animation

 

The graduate will be able to conceptualize, design, create and evaluate a 2D and 3D animation for various purposes.

 

 

 

9.5 3D Content

 

The graduate will be able to develop and produce specific 3D Animation projects and / or

 

project components

 

 

 

9.6 Video

 

The graduate will be able to conceptualize, design, create and evaluate a video project.

 

 

 

9.7 Audio­­

 

The graduate will be able to conceptualize, design, create and evaluate an audio project.

 

 

 

9.8 Web Design

10. Portfolio

 

The graduate will be able to conceptualize, design, create and evaluate his/her own digital or non-digital portfolio that is necessary to secure ­and maintain employment.
